A document reader communicating with LBIS/4G Accommodation Agenda was implemented in Spa Hotel Venus in Karlovy Vary in March 2018. In practice, integration works as follows:
- When a client arrives for a stay, the receptionist reads information from their document (personal ID card or passport) stated in the machine-readable zone with the aid of a document reader.
- The information read from the documents is subsequently saved to the client’s card.
The main benefits of this functionality are fast check-in and a precise, error-free record of information about the client.
